You can get the basics done. Lock unlock doors , vent roof, remote start and location of vehicle. Sometime its very slow. Pls add finger print reader for remote start instead of typing password every time !

Seriously, this app hasnt even been optimized for the iPhone 6s or 6s plus yet. Its also missing crucial features such as a baked in map for charge stations. The loading delay is clunky, diagnostic features are missing, the ability to search for generic charge stations are missing, theres no manual for your car baked in (or spec sheet), no option to use the Bluetooth on your phone as a replacement for the fob, come on guys. The simple features are lacking for the top of the line tech car, a bit embarrassing is you ask me. Feel free to reach out to Deloitte Digital if you guys need help.

Being forced to type my password to remote start eliminates the usefulness of the feature. Please, please include an option to auto save the password. Or to use fingerprint.

Of course I want to play with the Tesla app, like all other features of the car, on my first day of ownership but it hasnt registered my new car yet after 16 hours. I had to buy the Remote S app just to be able to try out some remote features. This app must have Touch ID sign in! Manual password entry every time you want to do a function is way too cumbersome.

It seems that Tesla is determined not to support the 6s/6s+ screen resolution.

Hasnt event been updated for iPhone 6 screen size.

iPhone 6S: The app does a great job communicating and controlling your car, much faster in this release. Though, its missing a few nice-to-have features like; Today screen integration. Touch ID to access and start the car. (You can start it by typing in the password.) Trip planning from the app. Todays screen integration (iPhone) to do basic stuff. Ability to see trip mileage and consumption. Raise/lower suspension.

I am mind boggled that updates have been pushed and the UI hasnt been updated and/or formatted for newer phones. (And this is a relatively easy task guys). The app would be great if it had more use than checking the charging status. Features such as bluetooth unlocking are painfully absent from the app in a mind boggling way, and it seems that Tesla has no interest in improving this. Why cant I view or plan my route in the app, viewing charge station stops. Why cant I search for charge stations. Why isnt there a decent hook in the the my tesla page. Why cant I manage basic car settings in the app. Overall it seems that tesla released the minimum basics they needed for a functional app and called it a day.

Japan is no longer stuck on v6, which is great. This app could be a lot better with functionality. Here are some suggestions: - Send address / map location to car navigation (easy use of intl keyboards) - Send URL to car web browser - Functionality similar to AirPlay for video/music (assuming AirPlay would not be licensed) for the car main screen - Ability to look through cars camera(s) - Driver profile switching - Display exterior temperature in addition to interior Wouldnt be too hard to think of more.

Does what I need it to - Pretty easy to use

Although some reviewers seem miffed that more updates havent been made, this app works as advertised. I love the ability to preheat my car and to follow the charging level remotely. The summon feature is cool but I have only tried it a couple of times. It works best to "show off" the capabilities of my Tesla to fiends! The other features work also but honestly I dont have much use for them. Im very happy with the app.

I cannot believe that this is a zero cost feature for the Model S! I paid a great deal for less features on my previous Mercedes mobile connectivity. Good on Tesla for a well integrated product!

Using summon in the App now says "please update your vehicles software to use summon". It was just updated! I use summon all the time This app still doesnt support the larger devices... Who did tesla contract this app out to? Its horribly out of date

Great app I use it every day. Tesla, please add stats from tesla and make it faster.

Ive tried to run the latest app update at least 10 times; wont update and now the app isnt usable.

The update states improved summon experience. There is no summon experience now or previously, so how is that improved. App is also extremely slow to load.

Not how beta features of the car work The app works as advertised Preheat, unlock start etc Summon and other features are beta and will improve over time

Dont let these bad reviews fool you... This is a FREE app!!!! That being said, Tesla did a GREAT job IMO at delivering an app that really puts you in control even when youre not close to the car at all.... Yeah there are some features I wish this app included but like I said its FREE!!!

The app is very good on serval areas of basic operations. Please integrate fingerprint recognition into the Apple iPhone, Watch and iPad. Needlessly typing in a password each time has already been addressed and solved by Rego Apps. Thank you.

Ive had other car manufacturer apps and compared to this they are terrible. This one could use a few more features but what it does do,it does it very well. Very Stable unlike Remote S. My only complaint is that it doesnt implement Touch ID for starting. So I use ConnecTT for that.
