Lost potential

I am mind boggled that updates have been pushed and the UI hasnt been updated and/or formatted for newer phones. (And this is a relatively easy task guys).

The app would be great if it had more use than checking the charging status. Features such as bluetooth unlocking are painfully absent from the app in a mind boggling way, and it seems that Tesla has no interest in improving this. Why cant I view or plan my route in the app, viewing charge station stops. Why cant I search for charge stations. Why isnt there a decent hook in the the my tesla page. Why cant I manage basic car settings in the app. Overall it seems that tesla released the minimum basics they needed for a functional app and called it a day.
