Definitely like this update and new layout. Great job Tesla!

What is happening at Tesla?? They threw out a very intuitive, fast interface and replaced it with a over-styled, hard to read and use graphics-refresh. Where are the long awaited new features?? Seat heating control, navigation planning, charge amperage control, times preconditioning, ifttt integration, more info in the API etc.!! This update is just embarrassing...

The new tesla app is fast and responsive... love the home screen and widget access! Calendar sync doesnt work, with the screen saying in need to enable notifications, which I have. Besides that and the desire to be able to control your tesla with your Apple Watch, this is a welcomed update!

The previous version of the Tesla app was in desperate need of a refresh and thats exactly what this app gives us. The only new "feature" is Touch ID support for keyless start. Its a pity because were obviously spoilt by Tesla constantly upgrading our cars we sort of expect new functionality with a major revision update of software like this.

This is what we as Tesla owners have been waiting for all this time! With the additions of Touch ID, widget and a complete redesign of UI from the ground up, now theres no reason for me to use those alternatives like Remote S and the like! I feel like this is what the official app shouldve been since the very beginning! Kudos to Tesla and plz keep up the good work and continue to make our cars and this app greater!

This app is nothing but a new skin on the old one. I still cant turn on my defroster, warm the seats, or open my doors on my MX. Tesla, if youre not going to invest in this then open your APIs so others can. This is ridiculous.

Looks nice. Too many pages, not enough functions.

Sure you gotta scroll down half a screen from the home page of the app but its there (along with VIN). Overall, nice enhancements with this app. With Touch ID on the remote start Ill be using it a lot more often. Next ask (for those of us in cold weather climates) is for the climate area to be able to touch on the heated seat(s), steering wheel, defrost, etc. A boy can dream...

This update is underwhelming, I would give it a 2.5 star. It is a decent UI improvement. The update makes no use of a Smartphone incredible processing power. Missed opportunity Elon.

Excited to see an update for the larger screens and a new flat icon. Thanks. It would be great to be able to start a software update from the phone. Would save having to run out to the garage just to start the update.

Very useful iPhone app, particularly for Summon, for front trunk (frunk) access, and for when one doesnt have the key fob. Would love Apple Watch support.

Overall, this was a nice update to the app. They did a good job refreshing the interface and speeding it up. Its still missing some basic features that I would use often though: - Ability to send destinations to your car. - Seat heater controls. - Heated steering wheels controls. - Heated windshield wiper controls. I hope theyll add these features in a near future update.

iPhone 7: The app does a great job communicating and controlling your car, much faster in this release. My new list of nice-to-have features; Remotely turn on heated seats for 5 minutes, useful when its freezing outside. Maybe have this happen when the heater needs to turn on and theirs a large temperature differential between cabin and outside temps. Trip planning from the app. Especially support for multi segment trips with supercharger stops. Speaking of Superchargers..Id like to browse their locations and see details like I can in my Tesla. Ability to see trip mileage and consumption. And while Tesla developers are listening lets throw in a non-tesla app but related wish item: Apple CarPlay. :) Imagine half the screen is apple CarPlay, so cool that would be...

The frequently used controls are at the top. Touch Id. Very nice. We want camp mode and more scheduling features!

Great app...but seriously why cant they add defroster front and back on the app? Does no one who uses the app live in a snowy climate?

The app looks much sharper than the previous dated look. Having a today widget is fantastic, and Touch ID remote start is much appreciated. The only addition Im still waiting for is an Apple Watch app.
