Very good

Great features to manage a Tesla. What about a touch ID feature? What about an alarm function like: IF GPS Position of my-iphone IS NOT GPS position of myTesla AND myTesla is startingup/moving, THEN trigger alarm on iPhone with dialogbox and button "engage valet mode" (and other options). Would be nice to have a demomode of the app to play around with for people who dont own a Tesla yet, but eventually write about or just want to know how it feels.

App keeps crashing when going into notifications! Should show more information. For example, Total Mileage driven, Trip A and B. Tesla should also add a date feature on the 17" or the clock display.

The app connects about 10% of the time even with a great LTE signal strength and standing close to the car or a block away. However when it did connect I tested all features and they worked like a charm. Unfortunately I have never received any notifications even though they are all checked off. I would appreciate the notifications very much. Please fix this. I always get the updates of this app. (Car update 8 failed twice and no longer shows up to download)

Its been three days I wanted to download this app!! Still waiting to see that happen. Cant get rid of, cant restart, cant download. Would connect to T-X 60D when it happens.

Very happy with this app, works like a charm. If you are open to suggestions could you add the functionality of changing driver profile on it? My wife is short, I cant sit in the car to change the profile to me without banging knees on the console.

This is really a great app. I use it daily and it works great! Requests for developers: - on the Position map, the car is not pointing in the right direction (180 degrees error). This should be fixed - it would be nice to know the status of the 4 windows (open or closed). So if it starts raining, we could close them remotely -it would also be nice to add a feature that would allow starting the front and rear defrosters from the app. Currently, this can only be done from within the car.

Good app, work well. Better Ui, connects to car faster than previous version. No new feature however.

Nothing new since the old version. No access to schedule settings for charging time and charging power. No open/close all windows/rooftop. Impossible to start seats and steering wheel heating.Impossible lock the app with ‘Touch ID ». No open/close tailgate. No way to start software updates or scheduling it.

I like the new feature of starting the vehicle from afar. It would be nice to have a better cold weather control though. I live in a cold snowy climate so front/rear defrost as well as wiper heater control would be greatly appreciated feature.

Well that was somewhat disappointing ... the new app is an improvement in design compared to the old app, but, Tesla didnt improve the app climate control in any way. I was hoping they would allow for remote control of the climate system, for example, the ability to activate the front or rear defrost, or steering wheel heater. I like the widget, which is new, but otherwise a bit disappointing.

Same features but nice new layout, would have been fun to select the interior colour instead of the imposed black.

This update introduces cosmetic improvements that make the app look slick and modern. Its more responsive when connecting to the car, and offers a widget for a quick check of battery status, etc. However, there are no new features. Many Tesla owners are still requesting these app features: - Access to defrosters, heated wipers and seats for cold weather - Ability to adjust charge amperage and start time from the phone (even better would be "charge to X% by xx:xx time) - Ability to start software updates from the app Also, although the iOS widget is convenient, it does seem to wake the vehicle for data updates every time the widget screen is accessed on the phone. This might lead to excess power drain when the car is not being driven.

I just traded in my 2013 Model S for a 2016 Model S and although there was no difficulty, other than slow to load I was able to connect iPhone 5 and then iPhone 6s with the 2013. Now, only on Wi-Fi connects to the app and the car. Cellular "cannot connect" Tesla Support had not heard of or could offer a solution.

Great car great app. Some ideas: -Would love to access the car camera from my phone. -change the personal setting (from Karen to Jon) from the app Keep up the great work!

Tesla is amazing, but have been underwhelmed by the the app. Seems like an afterthought that doesnt get much attention.

Stopped working after 2 years. Reinstalled it, talked to tesla tech, changed password, updated phone; still frozen. BUMMER

Quick connection to the car and always works. Latest update looks great. A few nice to have features would be scheduled climate control, remote seat heating, and using BLE for keyless access and starting instead of a physical key or pressing buttons on the app (sometimes the car doesnt have LTE access in parking garages). And a watch version!

Tesla owners had very high expectations for the new app specially after Elon mentioned this would be a major overhaul. Unfortunately it is just a facelift. No new features after 4 years, no support for Apple Watch. Very disappointed
